1. He will make your convictions about the truth firm, enabling you to become mature enough to detect novel teachings and false doctrines.
2. Commitment to God’s Word will deliver you from opinions and concocted messages born out of human prejudice, paraded as a voice from the throne of God.
3. Commitment to God’s Word causes you to live with the assurance that your present is controlled by the Word and your future is constructed by that same Word.
4. Commitment to God’s Word enables you to interact with your senses but engage by your spirit and through revelation from the Word, which puts you at an advantage always.
5. Commitment to God’s Word imparts the wisdom of the old and the strength of the young into your heart.

8. His teachings make us joyful and radiate His light; His precepts are so pure! His commands—how they challenge us to keep close to His heart! The revelation-light of His Word makes my spirit shine radiant.
9. Every one of the Lord’s commands is right; following them brings cheer. Nothing He says ever needs to be changed.
10. The rarest treasures of life are found in His truth. That’s why I prize God’s Word like others prize the finest gold. Nothing brings the soul such sweetness as seeking His living words.
